I Tried 5 PDRN Skincare Products — Here’s What Actually Felt Different

I tested 5 PDRN skincare products from REJURAN, medicube, Anua, MEDIHEAL, and VT. Here’s how they compared for moisture, absorption, shine, and glow.

I tried five PDRN skincare products side by side, and the biggest difference wasn’t the PDRN percentage.

It was how they actually felt and looked on my skin.

REJURAN felt the most moisturizing.

medicube absorbed the fastest.

Anua left the least shine.

MEDIHEAL felt light and balanced.

And VT gave me, by far, the most glow.

If you’re trying to choose between them, here’s what I noticed after actually using all five.

The Quick Answer

Most moisturizing → REJURAN

Fastest absorption → medicube

Least shiny / great before matte makeup → Anua

Light and balanced → MEDIHEAL

Most glow → VT

1. REJURAN Moisture Cream

The Most Moisturizing of the Five

REJURAN feels the most like a traditional moisturizer.

The packaging lists c-PDRN 0.2% and PDRx 5%, and the formula includes squalane, shea butter, and ceramide NP.

Compared with the serum and essence-type products, it feels richer and leaves more moisture behind on my skin.

It doesn’t disappear as quickly as medicube, but I don’t necessarily want that from a moisturizer. When my skin feels dry, I actually like something that feels a little more substantial.

The finish has some sheen, but I’d describe it as moisturized rather than glossy.

If moisture is my priority that day, this is the one I’d reach for.

2. medicube PDRN Pink Peptide Serum

The Fastest to Absorb

The first thing I noticed about medicube was how quickly it absorbed.

The packaging lists PDRN (Sodium DNA) 1% along with a 5 Types Peptide Complex.

The texture is light and serum-like, and it seemed to disappear into my skin faster than any of the other four.

Anua also absorbed quickly, but when I compared all five side by side, medicube was the clear winner for absorption for me.

It also felt relatively low in stickiness.

There’s some glow after application, but it stops well short of the glossy finish I got from VT.

For everyday use, I actually like that balance.

If I want something light that I can apply and move on with my routine, I’d pick medicube.

3. Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Acid 100 Moisturizing Cream

The Least Shiny — and My Pick Before Matte Makeup

Anua surprised me the most.

The ingredient list shows Sodium DNA 1,000 ppm (0.1%), along with multiple forms of hyaluronic acid.

The texture feels more like a lightweight water-gel cream than a rich moisturizer. It spreads easily, absorbs quickly, and has very little stickiness.

But the biggest difference was the finish.

Anua was the least shiny of all five.

If you love a very dewy, glass-skin look, that may not sound exciting. But I actually see it as an advantage.

I don’t always want my skincare to leave a glossy layer underneath foundation, especially when I’m going for a more matte makeup look.

That’s when I’d reach for Anua.

There was one downside for me: after wearing it for a while, my skin felt slightly drier than it did with the other four products.

That doesn’t mean the product itself is drying. It’s simply what I noticed on my skin.

On a dry-skin day, I’d probably layer something richer with it.

Sometimes less glow is exactly what you want.

4. MEDIHEAL PDRN Lifting Serum with Squalane

Light, Comfortable, and Balanced

MEDIHEAL landed somewhere comfortably in the middle for me.

The packaging lists PDRN & Rose 8,902 ppm and Squalane 10,000 ppm.

I’m keeping that wording exactly as it appears on the packaging rather than calling it “8,902 ppm of pure PDRN.”

The texture is a lightweight serum. It spreads easily, absorbs well, and leaves a soft glow without making my skin look overly shiny.

It doesn’t have the richer feel of REJURAN, the extremely quick absorption I noticed with medicube, or the dramatic glow of VT.

And that’s not necessarily a weakness.

Sometimes I just want something that feels light, comfortable, and balanced.

That’s where MEDIHEAL fits for me.

5. VT PDRN Essence 100

The Glowiest One — No Contest

I’ve been using VT PDRN Essence 100 for quite a while, but comparing it directly with the other four made the difference much more obvious.

The bottle lists PHYTO PDRN™ Panax PDRN 100,000 ppm and describes its PDRN as plant-derived from wild ginseng.

I’m keeping the 100,000 ppm wording as it appears on the product rather than turning it into a claim of “10% pure PDRN.”

The texture is thin and essence-like, and it absorbs well.

But what really stands out is the finish.

VT made my skin look noticeably shinier and glossier than any of the other four.

I mean glowy, shiny, glossy skin.

If you love a dewy, almost glass-skin finish, this was the clear winner for me.

If you don’t like shine, I’d go in the opposite direction and choose something like Anua.

I’ve also used VT for quite some time, and personally, it has felt comfortable on my skin.

For glow, VT was my clear #1.

My Glow Ranking

After trying all five side by side, here’s how I’d rank them based only on the visible glow they left on my skin:

1. VT — very glossy and shiny

2. medicube — noticeable glow

3. MEDIHEAL — soft glow

4. REJURAN — moisturized sheen

5. Anua — least shiny

This isn’t a ranking of which product is better — and depending on the finish you like, #5 could easily be your #1.

What About the PDRN Source?

Three products in this comparison use salmon DNA-derived PDRN: REJURAN, medicube, and Anua.

VT takes a different approach. Its PDRN Essence 100 is labeled PHYTO PDRN™ Panax PDRN and describes its PDRN as plant-derived from wild ginseng.

MEDIHEAL lists “PDRN & Rose 8,902 ppm” on its packaging, so I’m keeping that wording as-is rather than assuming the entire 8,902 ppm refers to PDRN alone.

I also wouldn’t choose a product simply because its PDRN is animal-derived or plant-derived.

After using these five, the differences I actually noticed on my skin were much simpler: texture, absorption, moisture, and finish.

So, Which One Would I Choose?

Most moisturizing → REJURAN

Fastest absorption → medicube

Least shiny / before matte makeup → Anua

Light and balanced → MEDIHEAL

Most glow → VT

What surprised me most was how different these products looked and felt despite all being PDRN skincare.

I wouldn’t choose one based on the biggest PDRN number alone.

I’d choose based on what I actually want from my skincare that day — more moisture, faster absorption, less shine, or more glow.

For me, that turned out to be the much more useful way to compare them.
